Inhibited Ethylene Glycol 50/50 with OAT-908 — Data Center Coolant
Premium 50% v/v inhibited ethylene glycol coolant engineered for data centers, hyperscale direct-liquid cooling (DLC) loops, edge-compute thermal management, HVAC chillers, and industrial closed-loop heat-transfer systems. Pre-blended at 50% v/v ethylene glycol in deionized water with the OAT-908 hybrid corrosion-inhibitor package. Conforms to ASTM D3306 industrial coolant corrosion limits. 5+ year closed-loop service life under design conditions.
What is OAT-908?
OAT-908 is a hybrid Organic Acid Technology (OAT) corrosion-inhibitor package combining aliphatic organic acids with selective inorganic synergists (sodium nitrite, sodium molybdate, sodium benzoate) for simultaneous protection of copper, brass, mild steel, cast iron, aluminum, and lead-tin solder in a single fluid. Reduces silicate and phosphate fouling vs. legacy IAT and HOAT formulations.
Climate fit: Minneapolis, Boston, Toronto, Quebec hyperscale, Stockholm, Reykjavik, and any data-center corridor where the loop is exposed to sustained deep-freeze winter conditions. Industry workhorse spec for ASHRAE Climate Zones 6 - 8 and the standard fill for free-cooling loops in northern hyperscale builds.
Performance
Engineered for the same closed-loop applications as premium industrial inhibited ethylene glycol coolants — chilled-water and condenser-water loops, DLC and rear-door heat exchangers, HVAC chiller systems, hydronic process cooling, and freeze / burst protection. Conforms to ASTM D3306 industrial coolant corrosion limits across the same six-metal ASTM D1384 coupon stack used to benchmark long-running inhibited glycol formulations.

Maintenance & make-up
Use only deionized or distilled water (less than 50 µS/cm conductivity, < 25 ppm chloride, < 25 ppm sulfate) for top-up and make-up. Annual fluid analysis is recommended; replace fluid when reserve alkalinity falls below 5.0 mL or pH drops below 7.0.
