This collection includes kerosene K-1 (CAS 8008-20-6, C10–C16, flash point ≥38°C, specific gravity 0.81), petroleum ether Technical Grade (CAS 8032-32-4, C5–C6, boiling range 30–60°C), and petroleum ether ACS Grade (99.8% typical).
K-1 kerosene serves as a clean-burning fuel for heaters and lanterns and as an industrial degreasing solvent. Petroleum ether ACS Grade is used in HPLC mobile phases, Soxhlet extraction of fats and oils, and analytical chemistry. Both petroleum ether grades offer rapid evaporation with minimal residue.
