Common questions

How soon will my account be tax-exempt?
Once we approve your certificate (typically within one business day), future orders will ship tax-exempt automatically. If you need to place an order before approval and have questions about sales tax, contact sales@alliancechemical.com.
Does one certificate cover future orders?
Yes. Blanket certificates stay active until they expire or are revoked. Some states require periodic refresh (Illinois every 3 years, Florida annually); we'll email you about a month before yours expires.
What happens if my certificate expires?
You get a reminder ~30 days before expiration. If we don't have a renewed certificate on file by then, we resume charging sales tax until one is submitted.
