Pick this concentration when you want fewer dilution steps than a weaker solution requires, but easier handling than a more concentrated acid demands. The Food Grade designation matters when your process touches food, beverage, or similar regulated formulations; if your application is strictly industrial — say, rust removal on shop equipment — a technical grade may serve at lower cost, and this page's grade is the right call only when food-grade quality is a requirement, not a preference.

Store it in HDPE or glass — the same materials we pack it in — away from incompatible materials, heat, and direct light. Because it can attack metals, do not transfer it into unlined steel containers or leave it in contact with metal fittings. It is stable in storage under those conditions; low vapor pressure means it is not pushing fumes into your storage area, but keep the space ventilated as a matter of course.
