Grade and Inhibitor Package Are Different Choices

A USP grade designation does not identify a corrosion inhibitor package. For a cooling loop, confirm the required inhibitor chemistry, concentration and material compatibility. For formulation work, check the product specifications and lot COA against the requirements of your finished product.

Safety & Handling

Propylene glycol has a lower toxicity profile than ethylene glycol, but it should still be handled with normal industrial hygiene practices. Verify grade suitability, material compatibility, and inhibitor chemistry before charging a system. Review the Safety Data Sheets before use and follow your site-specific handling procedure.
