• Recertifies training at least every 3 years per 49 CFR 172.704(c)

1. Ask for the supplier's DOT registration number (Alliance: DOT #2188383)
2. Verify hazmat training documentation under 49 CFR 172.704(c) — re-certification within 3 years
3. Confirm the supplier provides full hazmat shipping papers, not just an SDS
4. Check that hazmat labels, markings, and packaging match the substance's UN classification
5. Confirm CHEMTREC or equivalent emergency response contact is documented
