The Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA) is the U.S. federal law governing commercial use of industrial chemicals. The EPA's TSCA Chemical Substance Inventory lists every substance that may legally be manufactured, imported, processed, or distributed in U.S. commerce. A "TSCA-compliant chemical supplier" sells only substances that are:

• Listed on the EPA TSCA Inventory (active list)
• Not subject to TSCA Section 5 Premanufacture Notice (PMN) requirements without compliance
• Not under TSCA Section 6 risk evaluation restrictions where prohibited for the intended use
• Properly documented with TSCA Section 8 reporting where applicable

Every Alliance Chemical product is sourced from manufacturers and distributors with active TSCA documentation. We provide TSCA confirmation on request as part of standard quote response.

1. Identify the chemical's CAS Number (Chemical Abstracts Service Registry Number)
2. Search the EPA's TSCA Inventory search tool
3. Confirm "Active" status and any flags (e.g., Section 5(e) consent order, Section 6 restrictions)
4. Review the supplier's COA to confirm the lot matches the listed substance

For any Alliance Chemical product, the CAS Number is on the SDS, the COA, and the product detail page. We do not sell substances flagged inactive on the TSCA Inventory.

1. Confirm CAS Number + substance name match between PO, COA, and SDS
2. Verify supplier provides TSCA confirmation on request (Alliance does this in every quote)
3. Check supplier's federal credentialing — CAGE Code on SAM.gov simplifies compliance audits
4. Confirm lot traceability — every drum, pail, or container should have a unique lot ID
5. Validate DOT hazmat classification for shipping safety
