Chemicals for systems that cannot stop

Cooling loops, treatment plants and wells run around the clock; the chemicals that feed them have to be on hand.

Energy production, water treatment and thermal management all depend on a steady supply of process chemicals. Data centers need inhibited glycol and deionized water for liquid cooling loops. Water and wastewater plants use coagulants, pH adjusters and dechlorination chemicals to meet their permits. HVAC and geothermal contractors need inhibited glycol matched to the system's metals and lowest temperature. Oil and gas operators use amines, methanol, acids and solvents for gas treating, hydrate control and well work.

Questions buyers ask

Do you stock premixed glycol coolant?

Yes. Ethylene glycol comes as 100% inhibited concentrate, a 50/50 technical premix and a 60/40 premix; propylene glycol as inhibited, USP and technical grades and a 50% premix. Each product page lists its sizes. Use inhibited glycol in closed loops: technical (uninhibited) glycol does not protect the system's metals. Check the equipment maker's requirements before you fill.

Can a water system buy treatment chemicals in bulk?

Yes. Ferric chloride, aluminum sulfate, caustic soda, sulfuric acid and sodium bisulfite are sold in drums and totes. For deliveries on a schedule or to several plants, request a bulk quote. Check whether your plant requires NSF/ANSI/CAN 60 certification before you order.

Can government buyers order from you?

Yes. Alliance Chemical is registered in SAM.gov under CAGE 1LT50 and is a DLA supplier. Agencies can pay by government purchase card at checkout, email a purchase order, or apply for net 30 terms. The government page has our UEI, NAICS code and NSN catalog.
