Ferric Chloride 20% is a pre-diluted aqueous solution of ferric chloride (FeCl3) prepared with high-purity deionized water. This 20% concentration provides a convenient, ready-to-use form that eliminates the need for on-site dilution of concentrated stock. Appearance: Brown liquid. This Technical Grade product is manufactured for industrial and commercial applications where high purity is required for consistent performance.
Supplied by Alliance Chemical in sizes ranging from 1 quart to 330-gallon IBC totes, this solution is ideal for operations requiring consistent 20% strength with minimal handling risk compared to higher concentrations.
Ferric Chloride is corrosive and will stain skin, clothing, and surfaces. Handle with appropriate PPE in a well-ventilated area. Store in HDPE containers in a cool, dry location away from bases, metals, and oxidizers. Avoid contact with concrete and masonry.
PPE Requirements: Wear chemical-resistant gloves, splash goggles, and protective clothing. In case of skin contact, wash immediately with soap and water. In case of eye contact, rinse for at least 15 minutes. Refer to the Safety Data Sheet (SDS) for complete handling and emergency procedures.
Shipping: UN 2582, Ferric chloride solution, Class 8, PG III.
Pre-Diluted Convenience: Ready-to-use concentration simplifies dosing and reduces handling of concentrated solutions.
Effective Coagulation: Rapid floc formation even at lower concentrations for efficient water treatment.
Flexible Packaging: Available from small containers to bulk totes for any treatment operation scale.
