Acetic Acid Glacial ACS Grade
Acetic Acid Glacial, ACS Grade, is a colorless, organic liquid with a distinctive pungent odor. With a concentration of ≥99.7%, this high-purity reagent meets American Chemical Society (ACS) and USP-NF monographs for strict analytical applications. Chemically known as Ethanoic Acid, it provides reliable solvent properties and acidity for sensitive laboratory and manufacturing environments.
We supply this material with rigorous quality control, ensuring low water content and minimal trace metal impurities. This makes it an ideal choice for High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC), spectroscopy, and fine chemical synthesis where baseline stability is critical. Available in pack sizes from small lab quantities to 55 gallon drums and bulk totes, Alliance Chemical ensures consistent supply for industrial buyers.
Corrosive Liquid. Acetic Acid Glacial causes severe skin burns and eye damage. It is flammable above 39°C (102°F). Handle only in a well-ventilated area or fume hood with appropriate PPE, including chemical-resistant gloves, goggles, and face shields.
Store in a cool, dry place away from oxidizing agents and strong bases. Keep containers tightly closed to prevent moisture absorption. In case of exposure, rinse immediately with water for 15 minutes and seek medical attention. Refer to the Safety Data Sheet (SDS) for comprehensive handling instructions.
