Glycerin, or glycerol is a simple polyol compound. It is a sweet tasting, colorless, odorless, nontoxic, viscous liquid that is widely used for a variety of uses. Glycerol has three hydroxyl groups that are responsible for its solubility in water and its hygroscopic nature. The glycerol backbone is central to all lipids known as triglycerides.
Our vegetable glycerin is of the highest quality and rated as USP / Food Grade. It is a clear, viscous liquid with a density of 10.5 lb per gallon. This product is used in a wide range of applications such a soaps, food, pharmaceutical, personal care, science, antifreeze, chemical processing and fuel.
Our glycerin is derived from palm fruits and has a minimum specification of 99.7% purity. Palm-based glycerin has a sweet taste relative and is considered the superior quality glycerin in the market.
